How do finances and the amazing grace of Jesus intersect? In more ways than you think. The essence of Jesus’ grace is a reliance on God for salvation, forgiveness, and, yes, provision. Grace is the attitude of surrender — all of me belongs to Jesus.
The same reliance upon the grace of God to provide for our spiritual and emotional needs is the same reliance we should depend upon God for our practical needs. Therefore, the key to true financial freedom is not better budgeting — although a good idea — but a better understanding and experience of God’s grace.
